Medlock Partners are currently supporting a well-established law firm with recruiting for a conveyancing paralegal to join their offices in Sheffield. The successful person will assist in progressing the purchase transactions and have the ability to manage their own caseload with minimal supervision.
Key responsibilities of the Conveyancing Paralegal
* Managing a small caseload of residential purchase transactions
* Drafting and preparing documents in accordance with instructions
* Involved with facilitating the exchange of contracts
* Preparing and submitting SDLT
* Providing regular updates to clients via email and telephone
* Archiving of files
* Updating the company case management system
Key requirements for the Conveyancing Paralegal
* Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience within a similar conveyancing role
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Excellent communication skills both written and spoken
* Knowledge of carrying out land registry searches, and preparing conveyancing documents
* Experience with case management systems
* Excellent client care skills
