Senior Account Manager at C&M Travel Recruitment
Business Development Manager - Required for this luxury hotel group, who need an experienced BDM/Account Manager to represent and grow awareness in the travel trade for their product. You will be covering the Midlands and North. Salary up to £45k plus benefits. Experience wise, they are looking for a BDM from the travel industry, a background within hotels or cruise would be ideal, and contacts within the travel agency world would be beneficial.
Business Development Manager Duties
* 3 or 4 days on the road, visiting new and existing travel agencies to grow awareness of the company's brand and products.
* Training staff, agreeing on new commercial terms, organizing fam trips, and attending numerous travel events and trade shows.
* Targeting 10 to 15 visits per week.
* Identify new travel agents, concierge desks, and luxury specialists.
* Analyze market trends and competitor activity.
* Provide monthly reports on sales performance.
Business Development Manager Skills Required
* Business development manager experience within the travel industry, ideally targeting luxury travel agencies.
* Based within the Midlands, Northern England, or Southern Scotland.
* Ideally from a hotel or cruise background, but they are open to other areas of travel.
* Clean UK driving license.
* Able to organize and attend fam trips.
Additional Information
* Salary up to £45k, 25 days holidays, pension, discounted holidays, and an expense card.
* You must have your own car; they will pay mileage.
