About the Role
As the Regional Sales Manager you will be managing a team of 5 Area Sales Managers. You will be expected to manage the team day to day and to drive sales across the area, deal with 1-2-1’s, regular meetings, performance reviews and mentoring etc… You will spend 50% of your time out with the sales team and doing customer visits and 50% of your time doing admin, quotes and general managerial responsibilities. Day to day running the area, dealing with OEM's, End Users, Distributors and Machine Builders. Looking after a budget in the area of circa £18million and looking for 3% growth. The team are selling across their range of Geared Motors into Food & Beverage, Materials Handling, Automotive, Pharmaceutical, Construction & Building industries etc…
Responsibilities
* Manage a team of 5 Area Sales Managers
* Drive sales across the area
* Deal with 1-2-1’s, regular meetings, performance reviews and mentoring
* Spend 50% of time out with sales team and doing customer visits
* Spend 50% of time doing admin, quotes and general managerial responsibilities
* Run the area day to day, dealing with OEM's, End Users, Distributors and Machine Builders
* Look after a budget of circa £18million and aim for 3% growth
* Sell Geared Motors into various industries
Required Skills
* Management experience
* Understanding of Power, Speed, Torque and Inertia
* Background in Mechanical Power Transmission
* Ability to do calculations on basic maths around rotary to linear motion
