We have an exciting opportunity for an organisedand enthusiastic ALLIED HEALTH PROFESSIONAL,NURSE,ORCLINICALRESEARCHPRACTITIONERtojoinBerkshireHealthcare NHS Foundation Trust as a Band 5 within the Research and Development Team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable, motivated individual with or withoutpreviousexperienceofworkinginhealthcareresearch.ThisisanopportunitytojoinourbusyResearch and Development delivery team working on studies on a range of specialisms including Dementia, Mental Health, Sexual Health, and Physical Health.
ThispostisbasedatUniversityofReading,WhiteknightsCampus,butyouwillberequiredto travel as required by the job role and as such atime efficientmode of transportation is essential. Currently the Trust is supporting remote working whereappropriate.
WorkPattern:UsuallyMon-Fri9-5butsomeflexibilitymayberequired.
The role requires excellentorganisationalskills andmeticulousapproach to work.Main duties include the implementation of research protocols, identification, recruitment, and support of patientsthroughtheresearchprocessaswellasprovidingresearchsupportasnecessarytostudy teams and clinicians.
Theroleinvolvescollectingaccuratedata,collectionoftissueorotherbiologicalsamples,carrying outclinicalassessments,documentgenerationandcontrol,andensuringresearchisconductedin compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), current legislation and research governance standards.FlexibilitybetweenMentalHealth,DementiaandCommunitybasedPortfoliostudiesisrequired.
Additionally, you will actively promote research and the work of the NIHR amongst clinicians, service users and the wider NHS.You will work with the research and university teams to drive clinicalresearchdeliveryperformancewithintheTrustandhelptheTrusttoachieveresearch targets.
