A client of ours in the Colchester area is recruiting a Logistics Administrator to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm and paying £29,000 - £31,000 per annum depending on experience.
Key Duties include but are not limited to:
1. Perform duties such as data entry, filing, photocopying, and organising documents.
2. Running multimodal shipments from start to finish including liaising with agents, bill of ladings, clearance instructions, deliveries and any special requirements.
3. Assist with office management tasks including ordering supplies and maintaining inventory.
4. Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate department.
5. Provide administrative support to the operations team as needed.
6. Input and retrieve information from company system.
7. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and handle it with professionalism.
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Logistics Administrator position:
1. 3+ years administration experience within Logistics distribution and supply chain industry/shipping industry.
2. Knowledge of import/export sea and air.
3. Proficient within Microsoft packages.
4. Highly organised.
5. Excellent communication skills.
6. High attention to detail.
7. Please note that you must be able to drive due to the location of the business.
