Murray Recruitment are recruiting a Field Service Engineer for our client based in the Central Belt of Scotland. Role Overview: This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading provider in the wellness industry in a mobile role, covering commercial contracts across the Central Belt. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of systems related to swimming pools and thermal suites, ensuring they operate efficiently and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities: Install and commission equipment for swimming pools, including pumps, heaters, filtration systems, chemical dosing equipment, and control panels. Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of plant systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Identify and address potential issues before they escalate. Diagnose and resolve mechanical or system faults, providing effective repair solutions. Replace faulty components and implement upgrades to improve system efficiency or meet updated standards. Ensure all work adheres to health and safety regulations, industry standards, and company procedures. Maintain clear communication with clients, providing updates, advice, and maintenance support. Keep accurate service records, noting all work performed, parts used, and time spent on each task. Deliver technical support and guidance to clients on system operation and upkeep. Respond promptly to emergency service calls, addressing urgent issues with swimming pools, spas, and thermal suites. Skills & Experience: Previous experience in maintenance, installation, or servicing roles—ideally involving pumps, heating systems, or water treatment equipment. A plumbing or electrical qualification would be advantageous. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and manuals. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Full UK driving licence. Willingness to work flexibly, including out-of-hours rota work. Physically fit and comfortable working in a range of environments, including outdoor or confined spaces.
