Nursery Assistant - University Hospital Wales
Key Responsibilities
* To act as an assistant key worker to named children, carrying out observations and adding to developmental reports for each child and liaising with parents regularly.
* Working in partnership with the team to assist and with the parents, always acting as a positive and professional role model with colleagues and with the children.
Main Duties of the Job
To be considered for the role you will be:
* Having a minimum Childcare Day Care Level 2 qualification and experience of a Nursery Assistant role in a busy nursery environment covering the age range 3 months - 5 years, together with excellent knowledge of child development and current practices.
* This role will involve working varying shifts between the hours of Monday and Friday from 7.00am to 6:00pm, so flexibility is required.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
