What does a ‘Procedural’ Supervisor do at Hogarth?
Proceduralism relies on broken down published components, logical structures and parameters to construct CGI at scale with code rather than manual effort. This role reports to the ‘Global Director Of Vfx’ and will work closely with all our global CGI/VFX teams.
Responsibilities
* Modelling and build: Define and build procedural systems for creating and poly modeling everything from environments, vehicles, props, and characters to be used in production with an emphasis on photo-realism, accuracy, detail, and function, and provide tools for manual adjustments of lookdev parameters.
* Procedural Specifications: Collaborate with Python developers to establish clear specifications for how the procedural system should function, covering UV’s, rigging and displacement map workflows using publishing and dependency.
* Quality Control systems: Eye for detail and able to build QA procedures to ensure the highest quality before release of assets.
