Our clients, based close to Chichester have an exciting opportunity for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join their busy production and engineering department.
Key Responsibilities
1. General mechanical/electrical engineering and routine maintenance tasks
2. Attend to and rectify factory machinery breakdowns, utilising best practice for both health & safety and hygiene
3. Fault diagnosis and route cause analysis
4. Ensure maximum equipment uptime and availability
5. Follow and improve upon month on month PPM schedules
6. Be involved in both electrical and mechanical reactive and pro-active maintenance
7. Maintain accurate records for all activity and spares used/requested
8. Ensure equipment is maintained to a high standard
Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience
1. Time served apprenticeship or equivalent in either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
2. Capable of quickly identifying and efficiently resolving mechanical and/or electrical faults
3. Experience with planned and preventative maintenance
