We work on a two-week rota and have the following set shifts available. Week 1 Wednesday 08:00-20:00 Thursday 08:00-14:00 Friday 14:00-20:00 Saturday 08:00-20:00 Week 2 Tuesday 14:00-20:00 Wednesday 08:00-20:00 Thursday 08:00-20:00 Friday 14:00-20:00 Rate of Pay £12.60 to £14.83 per hour Previous applicants need not apply Main duties of the job The post holder will work under the supervision of the clinical team and undertake appropriate delegated duties. They will work collaboratively with the team to meet the needs of patients, following policy and procedures to deliver high quality responsive care. The primary responsibility of the HCA Navigator will be to provide an initial assessment of patients attending the service including, confirmation of identity and presenting complaint, determination of appropriate clinical stream and priority. If navigated to Mastercall PCC, vital signs will be recorded including, temperature, pulse, blood pressure, respirations, oxygen saturation, blood glucose and urinalysis as required. Patient clinical priority will be established utilising a set of tools validated for use within the service. The post holder will liaise with the senior clinician on duty to facilitate urgent clinical assessment as required. The role is based within Trafford Primary Care Centre at Trafford General Hospital and the HCA will work as a member of the clinical team, supporting registered healthcare professionals in the delivery of an unscheduled primary care service delivered by Mastercall Healthcare.
