Base Salary + Comms $220k+
My client is a fast-growing events company working across several b2b sectors including Tech, Finance & Government, a unique opportunity has opened up for a high-performing Divisional Sales Director to join and help lead their Sponsorship Sales team during a time of significant growth, this leadership role is ideal for a sales professional with proven success within the event industry who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about mentoring others, driving revenue, and building strategic partnerships whilst managing a team of 4 Sponsorship Sales Managers.
Leadership & Team Management
* Act as the Sales Director, helping drive team strategy and supporting the overall success of the sales department.
* Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 4 direct reports within the Sponsorship Sales team.
Provide strategic guidance, regular performance feedback, and coaching to support individual and team success.
* Set and track KPIs, ensure accountability, and support professional development of team members.
* Foster a collaborative, high-performance sales culture focused on growth and excellence.
Sales& Strategic Growth
• Identify new business opportunities across the APAC region, with a focus on long-term partnerships.
• Step in to sell directly to clients when team members are on annual leave or as needed to support team coverage and continuity.

• Proven Leadership Experience: Experience managing a sales team in a target- driven environment, essential within B2B events or similar industry.
• Top Performer: A personal track record of exceeding sales targets and securing major partnerships.
• Mentorship Mindset: Ability to inspire and grow learning talent within a dynamic team environment.
• Strategic Sales Acumen: Strong commercial instincts and a consultative, relationship-first sales approach.
• Industry Expertise: Knowledge of the APAC event landscape is highly desirable.
• Event Travel: Willingness to travel and represent the company at key summits and bespoke events across the region.
