You’ll work directly with the CFO and CEO, take ownership of group reporting and controls, and play a hands-on role in shaping how finance supports a high-growth, service-led group operating at scale.
With turnover already exceeding £100 million and a target of £300 million within three years, the business is scaling fast through a mix of strategic acquisitions and sustained organic growth. What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Lead and review monthly management accounts (entity & consolidated group)
2. Prepare statutory accounts and oversee internal assurance processes
3. Deliver insightful financial reporting, KPIs, and commercial analysis
4. Support strategic planning through financial trend and variance analysis
5. Manage and develop a team of 5 across ledgers, billing, credit control & payroll
6. Oversee PAYE reconciliations, VAT returns, and audit readiness
7. Integrate new acquisitions into group reporting and control frameworks
8. Contribute to senior leadership discussions as part of the 14-person management team
What We’re Looking For:
1. ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified
2. Strong experience in both management and statutory accounts
3. Hands-on with Sage Line 50 & Sage Payroll
4. Multi-entity and group consolidation experience
5. Background in service-led, fast-paced businesses
6. Track record in internal control, audit prep, and financial assurance
