This is a part time role and we are looking for you to work 22.5 hours per week between 8am - 530pm Monday - Friday. This role can either be three days per week or the hours can be split across the week - providing flexibility in the working pattern and the potential for hybrid working if desired. You will be offered the opportunity to expand your Data Protection knowledge whilst focusing on protecting personal data of customers and colleagues. The Role: Effectively support the Data Controller team in managing the mailbox for all Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs). Accurately log all DSARs and ensure all deadlines for responses are met. Produce written responses to DSARs, including collating the necessary documentation and applying the appropriate redactions where needed, with support from our Data Controller Team. Ensure DSAR responses are accurate and cover the full extent of the data request. Respond to any basic data protection queries from customers and colleagues. Our Ideal Candidate: You will have high attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams. You will be organised and efficient while prioritising workload in a timely manner. You will possess strong interpersonal skills, as relationship maintenance and communication skills are of paramount importance in this role. Knowledge, understanding or interest in Data Protection Law (UK GDPR/PECR) is highly desirable, but not strictly necessary.
