About Us:
Founded in 2018, LDMS is part of the LC Financial Holdings group, a four-pillar organisation with over 2,000 employees across Europe. Together, we have an impressive track record of providing world-class credit expertise that spans over 20 years.
We are a Fintech company focused on digital lending software, a market growing around 18% per year and set to be worth $27 billion by 2028. Given our expertise within the company and across the group, we aim to be the leader in the space. To achieve this, we need a team of people who can not just write quality code but can think, create, and challenge others to come up with the best solutions for our customers. We are an ambitious team with a significant ‘to-do list', including improving existing products, building new ones, and delivering to new markets.
The Role:
At LDMS, it is all about teamwork. We work in small agile teams, focusing on the frequent delivery of valued features and improvements to our customers and stakeholders. Requirements for these features typically originate from the parent business functions to support changes to existing account portfolios or from migration projects to enable the onboarding of new external clients. We also progress the resolution of issues raised via our Service Delivery team.
As an Engineer, you will work with multifunctional teams to help develop, deliver, and support bespoke financial systems for high-profile clients across EMEA. You will be expected to uphold engineering best practices and quality.
We integrate modern but proven technology and leverage automation as much as possible to ensure we can deliver great products without unexpected surprises.
We embrace the DevOps paradigm by engineering, designing, building, testing, releasing, and providing ongoing support for our own code, ensuring end-to-end ownership and seamless collaboration across all stages of the development lifecycle.
Requirements:
This is an opportunity to grow and develop with LDMS and expand your technical skills. Your background and experience using SQL will be the foundation as you become more involved with PL/SQL and Oracle databases.
You should adjust well to shifting priorities when necessary, supporting the work of your peers through pairing, code review, cross-functional collaboration, and providing mentoring/coaching as appropriate.
While we see great value in bringing people in with specific skills, we also realize that sometimes your background may not perfectly overlap with what's listed below. We believe in continuous development and improvement, supporting you as you look for ways to scale your own skills while helping others improve theirs.
