Consumables Stock Controller - Part-Time
* Wednesday to Friday (3 days per week)
* Hours: 7.00am-3.00pm (22.5 hours)
Working on site at the Royal Aintree Hospital in Liverpool, you will be supporting a company that provides medical equipment to the NHS.
The role:
1. Day to day management of stock on site
2. Source non-stock products as required by the location
3. Add or amend product details onto system
4. Manage automatic and manual orders including non-stock
5. Manage requisitions including non-stock, raise and enter Purchase orders
6. Stock transfers e.g. adhoc issues on a sale or return basis
7. Expedite orders with suppliers
8. Manage migration process i.e. when Trust stock is depleting/depleted and company needs to order prior to stock out
9. Accept delivery, decant and manage reversals including management of over/under deliveries and damages
10. Ensure all stock is appropriately located ready for use by clinical staff
11. Manage receipt of products for trials, loan equipment etc after Consumables Group approval
12. Manage quarantine of product/product recalls/shelf life expiry/loss management and physical returns
13. Manage and process equipment (scopes) for loan/repair
14. Undertake cyclical and annual stock takes/reconciliation
15. Management of price queries with suppliers, Trust procurement and finance, and company Accounts payable
16. Provide on-site support for regional sites to cover absence
17. Assist with new client implementation activities as required
18. Any other duties as agreed with Head of Consumables
The person:
1. Previous Stock Control experience
2. Microsoft Excel skills
3. At least 3 years warehousing and inventory management experience ideally in the NHS would be desirable
4. UK Driver's License
