Base pay range
£120k base plus package - London twice a week - Financial Services experience
Are you a visionary data expert with strong cloud and modern architecture experience? Do you thrive in defining data strategies and driving transformation in a customer-centric, data-driven environment? If so, you would be a perfect fit for our FS Client based in London.
As a Principal Data Architect, you will lead enterprise-wide data strategies, governance, and architecture, enabling innovation and analytics at scale. Working with senior IT leaders and key stakeholders, you’ll shape the future of data management, ensuring agility, compliance, and business impact.
What You’ll Do:
1. Define and implement enterprise-wide data strategy, governance, and architecture.
2. Drive best practices for data management, integration, security, and AI/ML enablement. Collaborate with IT leaders and architects to ensure alignment with business goals.
3. Provide leadership in data innovation, governance, and interoperability.
What We’re Looking For:
1. Expertise in cloud-based data platforms, particularly Azure.
2. Strong strategic thinking and ability to translate business needs into data solutions.
3. Experience in defining enterprise wide data strategy, enterprise data governance, compliance, and integration.
4. Strong Financial Services experience, and ideally someone with consulting or strategy house experience.
5. Passion for driving innovation and best practices in data architecture.
