Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Head Door Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure and safe environment for both staff and patrons. This role requires excellent observational skills, the ability to handle conflict, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. The Door Supervisor will play a crucial role in loss prevention and ensuring compliance with licensing laws.
Duties
* Monitor the entrance and exit points of the venue to ensure safety and security.
* Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter and detect any suspicious activity.
* Utilise CCTV and surveillance systems to monitor behaviour and identify potential risks.
* Manage crowd control effectively during busy periods, ensuring a smooth flow of patrons.
* Enforce venue policies, including age restrictions and dress codes.
* Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, providing first aid when necessary.
* Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services as required.
* Maintain accurate records of incidents, breaches, or any relevant occurrences.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a security or supervisory role is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of loss prevention techniques.
* Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance operations.
* Certification in first aid is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle conflict professionally.
* A keen eye for detail with strong observational skills.
* Must possess a valid SIA licence or equivalent certification.
