Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner - Grimsby Area
Location: Grimsby North East Lincolnshire
Hours: Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £35,000.00 per annum
Ideal Candidate
1. Experience is Required and should be a minimum of 3 Years (essential)
2. Experience of creating and implementing PBS Support Plans
3. Experience of troubleshooting and adapting PBS Support Plans
4. Experience working with Children and Young People with Learning Disabilities (LD) and Autism
5. A very strong leader
6. Full UK Driving Licence
7. Staff will be required to have an enhanced DBS check
8. Qualified LDQ/ LDF
9. Qualification in BTEC Level 4 or above, MSc in ABA or PBS
10. Experience in Trauma Informed Care would be an advantage for this role

We are seeking a full-time Positive Behaviour Support Lead in the Grimsby area to join our client’s dedicated team. As the Senior PBS Lead, you will be working with a young person who is not currently accessing education. A robust PBS plan with strategies to support them to increase their quality of life is to be implemented with support, guidance, and training for key stakeholders working with them. The young person does display behaviours of concern; however, with the right support and strategies in place, we will be able to provide them a safe environment to flourish. Your role will include working in close partnership with the young person's family, carers, and other professionals to ensure that the PBS strategies keep them living in their current placement and accessing the community. This will be achieved through the delivery of a high-quality Positive Behaviour Support service, in line with legislation, regulatory standards, and contractual requirements.
