About the Role
This role will support the Housing Services Manager to develop and lead a unique accommodation service providing an unprecedented opportunity to end homelessness locally. You will ensure a personalised approach, working to manage risk and reduce associated harm from substance use and multiple exclusion, evaluating and adapting the service along the way in order to meet the unique needs and aspirations of clients.
About You
In addition to proven experience of effectively managing a team or service and delivering support to people with a range of needs, you will have:
* Good knowledge of welfare benefits, financial inclusion, housing and homelessness
* Good knowledge of mental health, addiction issues, harm minimisation, complex trauma and other issues affecting homeless people
* The ability to enable staff to motivate and inspire clients to make positive life changes
* The ability to work in an intuitive, psychologically informed way, taking a creative, flexible and collaborative approach
* Good knowledge of best practise of effective housing management in a supported accommodation environment

Working Schedule
In this role, employees will be scheduled to work Monday - Friday, flexible on start and finish times with the potential to cover shifts as required.
