An opportunity has arisen within our South Kent Coast Community Mental Health Administration team.
We are looking for a Receptionist/Administration Assistant. The ideal candidate will be educated to GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English with a good knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. They will have strong customer service skills, a professional and confident telephone manner with good communication and organisational skills.
It is important that the successful applicant exhibits empathy and compassion, has a professional and flexible attitude, has initiative with good interpersonal skills and is able to prioritise workloads working to agreed timescales.
You will be working in our Shepway Community Mental Health Team at Ash Eton in reception supporting your colleagues in both the Administration and Clinical teams where the main duties will be -
· Greeting clients when they attend the centre, ensuring they feel welcome and are seen in timely manner.
· Answering telephone calls and queries from internal staff or external agencies.
· Providing admin support to the clinical team.
· Using the client record system (RIO) - booking appointments and updating records.
· Working from the Admin team’s workflow mailbox - using Word to complete letters, updating the system, booking appointments etc.
· Manage the room booking system - ensuring requests for rooms are dealt with in a timely manner.
· Process posts created on a daily basis - using the Franking Machine.
