To provide field-based service and support to our clients. The successful candidate will be expected to work on their initiative; however, they will be part of a service team. The job will involve servicing and supporting audio-visual, video conferencing, pro audio, and control equipment. You will be responsible for the safe and correct diagnosis of faults, removal, repair, test, implementation, and operation of all aspects of audio-visual, video conference, display, and presentation technologies, including carrying out preventative maintenance visits and training end users where required at PM visits.
This job requires a technical understanding of AV systems and service within a corporate environment and is open to candidates within commutable distance of Maidenhead.
Responsible for post-implementation fault finding, testing, and the repair of audio-visual equipment across various job sites and client types.

1. Audio (Program and Speech, DSP based systems) (QSC, Biamp, Shure, and Poly sound structure)

4. Microsoft Hub
5. Video Wall Display Systems (Datapath/Dexon)
6. IPTV (Exterity / Tripleplay)
7. Live Event Work (VC/Presentation/Broadcast)
8. Configuring, performing diagnostics, and firmware updates of videoconferencing codecs and AV hardware in general.

Minimum Requirements:
1. 4 years audio-visual experience - installation/onsite/tech support
2. Ability to terminate cables (particularly Cat5/6, RS232 and Audio TRS)
3. Knowledge of Audio room acoustic optimisation within various environments
4. Effective communication skills at all levels especially client-facing
5. Good numeracy and written skills
6. Must be well organised with the ability to prioritise workload effectively whilst dealing with clients pro-actively
7. Quick response to service desk tickets
8. Able to work individually and as part of a team
9. Good time keeping and dressed according to the job in hand
10. Fully compliant with The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
