Job Title: Commercial Manager
Location: Hybrid, Tipton based but with travel
Salary: to £70k plus car/allowance + bonus and benefits
A fantastic opportunity an experienced Commercial Manager to oversee the commercial delivery of a dynamic portfolio of projects. Following an internal promotion, this role offers an exciting opportunity to manage all commercial aspects of projects from inception through completion. You’ll be involved in budgeting, risk management, stakeholder communication, and contract management to ensure projects meet financial targets and compliance standards with the launch of APM 8, you'll lead the Commercial department, driving performance across frameworks and projects.

What’s the role:
Aiding with Business Development activities, including assisting with Framework and Bid submission packs.
Effectively manage change and operational efficiency, continuously identify areas for business improvement.
Understand the requirements of the Customers and ensure that the Project is managed commercially to satisfy those requirements and in keeping with Customer Focus Strategy
Manage and support projects on commercial and supplier contracting aspects of projects across the business unit.
Assess and report on commercial aspects of project performance and escalate as appropriate.
Ensuring Monthly Commercial Reports are completed accurately.
Ensure the team complies with all Regulations and Company Policies & Processes
Developing and improving Commercial Policies and Procedures
Manage relationships with key external and internal stakeholders.
Manage costs and budgets efficiently, reporting monthly while helping to develop annual business budgets and strategies for growth; ensure that established policies, culture, and standards are effectively applied within the commercial team.
Who we're looking for
You will have appropriate qualifications, and professional membership of the RICS, CIOB or ICE
A comprehensive working knowledge of NEC3 & 4 contracts, including Options A & C
A working knowledge of IChemE, JCT and MF1 forms of contract
Possess exceptional negotiation, leadership, and communication skills with the ability to drive and influence others, simplify complex issues and convey information concisely and effectively in both written and verbal forms.
Hold a valid CSCS card EUSR Water Hygiene Card (training provided)What you’ll get in return:
