Senior Estimator Required - BUILD
Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 (depending on experience and level)

Due to the upturn in work, they are currently looking for a Senior Estimator due to an increase in work.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on construction, development, and refurbishment projects within a wide range of different sectors. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious, growing company led by a strong team of professional construction professionals.

Tender values will be between £500k and £10 million in value.
Duties
1. To monitor potential incoming enquiries.
2. Maintain up-to-date market knowledge of labour, plant, materials, and sub-contractors.
3. Prepare & send out sub-contract & material enquiries using Conquest enquiry system.
4. Where required, produce accurate take-off using Excel.
5. Manage, as directed, enquiries for labour, plant, materials, and sub-contractors.
6. Work on varied tenders.
7. Price bills/schedules analytically and produce quote comparisons using Excel estimating software.
8. Complete tender pricing for adjudication by the tender committee, including reporting on any risks or onerous conditions, providing a winning edge.
9. Liaise with Commercial Manager / Operational Director to assess programme & preliminaries.
10. Conduct feasibility studies and write procurement reports.
11. Apply Value Management techniques at the outset of a project.
12. On secured projects, prepare information for handover to the contract team.
13. Assist in developing Company estimating library.
14. Check tender documentation.
15. Measure tender against Decision Analysis.
16. Inform Tender Committee on Contract Conditions.
