Job Description
The Job Mission
As an Electrical Commissioning Engineer, you will play a key role in commissioning activities at Hinkley Point C. Reporting to the Commissioning Manager, you’ll oversee testing, validation, and documentation to ensure safe and effective project outcomes.
⚡️ Develop commissioning documentation for system testing and validation activities.
⚡️ Participate in factory tests and design reviews to ensure safety, quality, and ease of commissioning.
⚡️ Plan and execute detailed commissioning test programs with ownership of deliverables.
⚡️ Supervise contractor personnel during site commissioning to ensure successful outcomes.
⚡️ Analyse commissioning results and prepare comprehensive outcome reports.
⚡️ Ensure all commissioning activities comply with nuclear, environmental, and industrial safety regulations.
⚡️ Collaborate with teams to incorporate best practices in safety and technical excellence.

Qualifications
Essential Skills
Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.
Experience working in regulated industries, particularly in commissioning roles.
Knowledge of nuclear, power generation, or process plant systems.
Practical experience in commissioning, operations, or maintenance of plant systems.
Familiarity with diesel generators or similar systems.
