In order to develop and expand the capabilities of SAFRAN Engineering Services in the UK, we are looking to recruit a Project Management Officer to support the overall program by coordinating, leading and managing various projects in engineering, Industrialization test & development. The role is based in Cwmbran 3 days a week and 2 from home. The role can be a fixed term contract on payroll until the end of 2024, or a contractor inside IR35 route. The candidate will be responsible for assisting the delivery of on-going engineering projects, Industrialization deliverables and monitoring of testing activities and personnel. In addition, active engagement in both outsourcing and development activities will be expected to support the team. For this reason, across these domains project planning, risk analysis, preparation of dashboards & KPIs for internal and external reporting will be core. Similarly, arranging progress reviews / meetings, steering discussions and brainstorming / planning sessions with various stakeholders will be necessary. In order to be successful, the candidate should feel comfortable taking on a wide variety of tasks and prioritizing them, as well as stepping in for the Program Manager and willing to take on administrative duties such as; invoicing, tracking documentation, maintaining project folders, Steering packs and MoM's. Key Responsibilities: Generate Statement of Works for each project Ensure on time delivery of design documentation Manage supply chain Point of contact for third party contractors Deliver the project to schedule Plan and deliver project tests, documentation including reports and reviews Manage project resourcing requirements Report status and progress, on a monthly basis, including financial and technical scope Quickly identify and manage the resolution of emergent risks and issues, and escalate if required Managing digital tools, KPIs and dashboards Expediting and chasing to ensure deadlines are met and urgent issues resolved Requirements Relevant degree level or substantial experience, ideally holds PMI, IPMA or equivalent certifications.
