As the Buying and Product Administrator, you will be involved in the entire life cycle of orders at Flatspot and Always in Colour. You will be the main point of contact for current and future brands, providing the framework for orders and ensuring that they are submitted on time. You will also be responsible for creating product listings on our eCommerce platforms and purchase orders on our warehouse management system. You will ensure the accuracy of information held within the business database. You will be extremely proficient with Microsoft Excel or similar.
Key Responsibilities
1. Analysing sales data and forecasts to build orders for approval
2. Attending buyer meetings
3. Creating suitable commercial ranges
4. Generating product listings in eCommerce platform (Shopify)
5. Entering purchase orders into WMS and ensuring the warehouse team has all necessary data & information (Peoplevox)
6. Be the main point of contact within the business between the Buying Director and suppliers
7. Analysing product data to highlight performance and recommend actions
8. Understanding our target consumer, competitors and marketplace platforms
9. Liaising with suppliers to gather product data and order information
10. Responsible for ensuring that all product orders are placed in a timely manner
11. Utilising analytics to submit reorders, ensuring all opportunities are maximised
12. Responsible for pricing consistency across all channels
13. Keeping business database accurate (Airtable)
14. Reconciling deliveries against purchase orders and invoices
15. Investigating delivery discrepancies
16. Invoice processing
17. Periodical order auditing
18. Ad hoc duties as required
Essential Requirements
High level of ability and experience with Excel or similar. Must be able to demonstrate this.
Desirable Requirements
1. Experience with WMS (Peoplevox preferable)
2. Experience with eCommerce platforms (Shopify preferable)
3. High attention to detail
4. Previous experience in fashion/skateboard retail
5. Ability to work to strict deadlines
6. Analytical experience
Details
Hours - 8.30am - 5pm, 30min lunch Monday - Friday
Pay - £26-32k dependent on experience.
The office is based at Lee Mill near Ivybridge in Devon, it has a friendly, relaxed atmosphere with casual dress and tea/coffee making facilities.
