Role Overview
An ELAN LSA is positive, a team player, motivational, flexible, creative, and innovative with a supportive nature. The ideal candidate will be confident, calm, consistent, and resourceful with experience supporting pupils in a classroom environment, particularly those with Special Educational Needs or disabilities (SEND).
Responsibilities
1. Work closely with the class teacher to resource and adapt planning.
2. Support high-quality teaching and learning across all subjects.
3. Create learning environments where pupils can expand their knowledge.
4. Engage proactively with the school community to uphold our trust and school values.
5. Inspire pupils to be confident and independent learners.
6. Provide both 1:1 and small group support.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for someone who is proactive, energetic, and committed to engaging pupils, developing their desire to learn. The candidate should be calm, patient, and sensitive, able to comfort children when they’re upset.
