HOW WILL YOU MAKE CHANGE HAPPEN? The Global Strategic Proposals team (SPT) is seeking a Proposal Specialist based in London, to report into the UK SPT Lead. You will join a thriving, highly innovative global strategic proposals team that acts as a strategic partner to our several portfolios (i.e., industry groups), helping improve win rates for the most strategic opportunities. We do this by enhancing the North Highland value proposition in the market, and by producing high quality proposals and pitches. Although the PS roles focuses on UK pursuits and proposals, from time-to-time, you may be required to support global proposals by engaging with our US team members where needed. As a Proposal Specialist (PS), you will be responsible for creating and driving the creation of client-facing deliverables throughout the RFP and pitch process. Your role will comprise of undertaking strategic and tactical activities, project management organisation of the proposal process, and include leading and managing the pursuit or proposal phases such as the kick-off process, regular cadences with client teams, and any client meeting preps such as the final pitch prep. You will also play a key part in supporting the Proposal Manager with the development of the value proposition and win themes, as well as completion of all client-facing proposal deliverables using a variety of digital platforms. You will manage the work of others, and although you will receive general direction, will be expected to work independently on most occasions. YOU WILL: Project manage the proposal, including the proposal team, pursuit process, proposal plan and timeline. Manage and track status of the proposal activities and work streams. Leverage other resources such as our SPT content repository or "the Hub", knowledge platforms (e.g., when finding quals), design team support to enhance the look and feel of the document and liaise with other key business stakeholders. Identify key North Highland differentiators to help the proposal team better position ourselves in the marketplace. Build 'corporate' content using existing examples of work however showcase creative skills by tailoring responses to client. Maintain ongoing communications throughout the proposal process on progress against milestones and gaps identified. Work collaboratively with global SPT colleagues to share best practice and lessons learnt on an ongoing basis. Provide pitch support when preparing the proposal teams on the final pitch delivery including pitch materials support. Undertake administrative tasks such as maintenance and management of the UK proposals inbox which helps identify potential new opportunities. IDEALLY, WE'D LIKE: We are looking for individuals that: Have a background in proposal management High attention to detail Have a strong business acumen and personal leadership Are strategic, consultative and creative Keen to learn and grow Makes decisions quickly during tight timeframes Ability to manage simultaneous activities and work streams Ability to work with limited supervision English language skills - excellent written and verbal communication Experience in managing proposals end-to-end in any industry (professional services is preferable) Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in fields such as Business, International Relations, Marketing, Journalism, and related.
