Contek Recruitment are currently working with a precision engineering client, located in Sparkbrook, Birmingham. Due to company growth, our client are looking for an Engineering Administrator to join their small team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Our client are a quality-focused precision engineering company specialising in the supply of complex precision components and sub-assemblies, to customers ranging from large corporations to small and specialised companies. All work is completed in accordance with ISO:9001 requirements.
They supply numerous industrial sectors, including aerospace, packaging, electronics, motorsport, medical, pharmaceutical, and plastic injection moulding, both in the UK and overseas.
WORKING HOURS: Monday to Thursday (08:00 until 16:30) & Friday (08:00 until 13:00)
SALARY/PAY: £30,000 - £34,000 per year (Dependent on experience)
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* General administration duties, such as answering the telephone, greeting visitors, taking deliveries, and handling incoming/outgoing post.
* Quality-related, maintaining the companies approved supplier list, maintaining the supplier performance logs, internal quality audits, and organising external providers for calibration.
