About the School: Specialized Focus: Supporting students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), and Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD). Responsibilities: Student Support: Provide one-on-one and small group mentorship, focusing on building self-esteem, confidence, and emotional well-being. Intervention Plans: Develop and implement personalized plans to address specific SEMH challenges. Collaboration: Work with teachers, SENCOs, and school staff to create an inclusive learning environment. Progress Monitoring: Regularly review and adapt support strategies to ensure continuous improvement. Relationship Building: Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and external agencies. Requirements: Experience: Previous experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs, preferably in an educational setting. Knowledge: Understanding of SEMH challenges and strategies for supporting emotional and behavioral difficulties. Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships. Qualities: Empathy, patience, and resilience to support students through challenges. Qualifications: Relevant qualifications or training in SEMH support or related areas are advantageous.
