We are seeking a receptionist for our small animal general practice.
Your New Role
As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and their pets. Your role will involve delivering outstanding customer service, managing appointments, and ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk.
You will greet all clients warmly and professionally, answer phone calls, and deliver exceptional customer service. Provide clients with informative and empathetic guidance, converting inquiries into appointments to support pet healthcare. Ensure accurate invoicing and payment collection while presenting a knowledgeable and professional image that promotes the practice and instils confidence in our clients.
About Us
We pride ourselves on delivering the highest quality of care to our patients and our clinical team is instrumental in delivering that ethos. We are a large 11 branch practice with a variety of Certificate holder Veterinary Surgeons. We have a range of facilities from Dental xray, digital xray, ultrasound, CT scanner and Digital Laparoscope.
Working Hours
This part-time position consists of 19 hours of work per week. You will cover hours between 8:30am-6:30pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays only. Some additional hours may be required during practice stock takes.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and strong organisational abilities with keen attention to detail. The ideal candidate should be able to multitask and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in using IT systems for scheduling and record-keeping is important. While experience in a veterinary setting is preferred, it is not essential.
