Protocol Education is seeking two dedicated Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming primary school in North Tyneside.

This Roman Catholic primary school, located in North Shields, serves children aged 3 to 11. Additionally, the school has a notable number of Looked After Children (LAC), emphasizing its focus on providing care and support to vulnerable students. The school's safeguarding team includes multiple designated staff members, ensuring the safety and well-being of all pupils.
The Roles:
* Year 5 Teaching Assistant – Support pupils in a Key Stage 2 setting, assisting them in engaging with learning and managing emotional needs.
* Early Years Teaching Assistant – Assist in a nurturing early years environment, providing essential support to young learners.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience working with children, particularly those with SEMH needs.
* A background in psychology or related fields is highly desirable.
* Ability to support Looked After Children with a compassionate and patient approach.
* A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
* Availability to start ASAP.
