About the Role
As a Triage Clinician, you will play a crucial role in the urgent care pathway. You'll assess both adult and paediatric patients, providing advice, signposting, and repatriation where appropriate. Your expertise will help determine whether patients need immediate medical attention, and you'll prioritize cases based on clinical need to ensure timely and effective care. You will work alongside a dynamic Multidisciplinary Team (MDT), ensuring smooth communication and the safe management of patients throughout each shift. This collaborative role offers you the chance to make a significant difference in patient care while developing your skills in a growing service.
About Primary Care Co-Located Services
Our Co-Located Services are based within the Emergency Departments at Leeds General Infirmary, part of Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust. The services are located either in or near to Leeds City Centre, have good public transport links and onsite parking.
Job Description
1. Assess patients of all ages, making critical decisions on their need for immediate medical attention.
2. Prioritize patients effectively based on clinical need, ensuring timely reviews.
3. Work as part of the MDT, contributing to effective communication and patient safety.
4. Participate in ongoing in-house training and attend any necessary courses to enhance your skills.
