We are looking to expand our team to support the opening of our Newmarket CDC; successful candidates should expect they will be required to work across West Suffolk Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, including the Newmarket CDC and other community sites (Thetford and Sudbury) on a rotational basis. The successful candidate will need to be self-motivated, diligent, and committed to providing an excellent service to our patients. You will be required to obtain high quality ultrasound images and diagnostic reports within the hospital and community settings. This is an exciting time to join the West Suffolk Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, with staff participating in the planning of our new hospital (Future System Programme). We are also working closely with other hospitals within our ICS and engaging with regional Trusts around Imaging Networks. Main duties of the job You will be responsible for: Autonomously producing high-quality ultrasound images and diagnostic reports Maintaining high standards within the ultrasound team Training and supervising others, including supporting new staff in induction Teaching and promoting awareness and compliance with policies and protocols Participating in and supporting the governance programme, setting up ultrasound audits where necessary Participating in the ultrasound QA programme.
