Duties as a Religious Studies Teacher: Plan and deliver engaging lessons on world religions, ethics, and philosophy. Encourage students to explore and analyse religious beliefs, practices, and cultural influences. Promote critical thinking, discussion, and debate on moral and ethical issues. Create an inclusive and respectful classroom environment. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback. Contribute to extracurricular activities such as faith-based clubs, discussions, or school events. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Religious Studies curriculum. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of religious, ethical, and philosophical developments. Ideal Religious Studies Teacher: A degree in Religious Studies, Theology, Philosophy, Education, or a related field. A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent). Experience teaching Religious Studies at [primary/secondary] level. Strong communication and classroom management skills as a Religious Studies Teacher.
