Job summary
This role is designed to support GP practices within thePrimary Care Network (PCN) by helping with important administrative tasks.Working centrally at our main Southport office suite, as part of the Digital Clinical Hub team, you will assist inhandling clinical correspondence for Southport and Formby GP practices.
We are looking for people who have experience of using EMIS and agood understanding of medical terminology. If you're eager to make a differencein healthcare and work within a supportive team, we would love to hear from you!
This role is anew role within the PCN, and although advertised as a full-time role working Monday to Friday, part-time applications will be considered.

Main duties of the job
Key duties include but are not limited to:
1. Viewing documents received by the practices, and coding them using established templates and protocols.
2. Referring any documents that need further action to the appropriate GP practice team, following clear guidelines.
The role also involves training through the Personalised Care Institute, which will help you develop your skills as part of the Care Co-Ordinators national framework.
You will be working in a growing team consisting of both clinical and non-clinical colleagues, so teamwork and good communication skills are important.

Job responsibilities
Duties to include the following;
3. Follow a set protocolto decide which documents to process
4. Code and file documentsreceived by GP practices
5. Code documents using anEMIS template created by the digital clinical hub to ensure the EMIS healthrecord is clear and easy to understand.
6. Refer documents thatrequire any action to the relevant GP practice team using the EMIS appointmentbooking page
7. Complete a daily audit byrunning a search in EMIS web to support data quality.
8. Complete a daily log ofwork done in Microsoft Excel.
9. You will work to adaily target for the number of documents completed daily, which we will supportyou to achieve.
10. Engaging inweekly huddles to collaborate with team members, share knowledge and skills,and find ways to improve the service.
11. Attending relevanttraining to support both the development of the Digital Clinical Hub and yourown personal growth.
12. Build and developrelationships with team colleagues, wider PCN colleagues and with practices acrossthe PCN.

13. Educated to GCSE or A Level standard in English and Maths
