Staffline is currently recruiting a National Workshop Master/Senior Technician to work for our premium automotive client, BMW.
This exciting opportunity will allow you to work for one of the biggest car manufacturers, onsite at their Headquarters in Farnborough.
The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:15pm.
Experience in a similar role is required.
Your Time at Work
As a National Workshop Master/Senior Technician, you would be required to provide expert technical ability in both practical and theoretical repairs to all BMW Group products, including media and event support.
Your Duties Will Include:
1. Investigate, diagnose and rectify all BMW Group Products including pre-series, electric vehicles and customer cars that remain unresolved within the dealer network, ensuring the fault is rectified first time and to the customer's satisfaction.
2. Provide support to Marketing and Sales Departments at events, offering technical support, advice and enhanced general vehicle preparation, and communicate with customers and senior managers.
3. Diagnose, identify and rectify complex parts and technical problems on vehicles with consideration to safety and cost-effectiveness.
4. Inspect, maintain, investigate and report on pre-production and Press vehicles, identifying faults and design problems.
5. Provide technical and event support to the Corporate Communication department across all new model product launches.
Our Perfect Worker
Our ideal National Workshop Master/Senior Technician would have a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in a technically related motor industry position with a proven track record of problem management/problem-solving. Other skills you will show are:
* Strong initiative with good interpersonal skills and in-depth product knowledge of all new BMW Group products.
* Technically competent with all BMW / MINI vehicle systems, both from a diagnostic and programming functionality point of view.
* BMW Group Academy and ATA Master Technician Status.
