This is an exciting project for an experienced Tax Senior Manager or Director to lead on an integration project. Reporting to the Group Tax Director, you will be reviewing existing tax policies, processes, systems and how tax is used and viewed by the business across areas of tax. Using this, you will form a recommendation of a plan going forwards in order to maximise efficiency, opportunity, best practice and reduce risk.This is an exciting role where you will be joining a business at an exciting part of their transformation journey. It is envisaged the project will be 15-18 months on a fixed term contract basis. Specific responsibilities include:Work with each business to understand and document the tax systems and processes across all areas of taxUnderstand and document the approach to tax governance and management of tax including tax strategy, SAO, CCO and tax governance frameworkMake recommendations for the integration of tax systems, processes and governance with a clearly defined project plan for implementation, including stakeholder managementIdentify any areas of tax risk and actions required, prioritise these and develop a plan to address themThe Group has offices across England and Wales where they are happy for you to be based, with some travel to key Head Office locations required.
