Assist in the managing of the Quality Department effectively by ensuring the highest standards of quality goods are produced by the Leeds site at all times through effective monitoring processes
Be a BRC and ISO9001 internal auditor and to lead the audit team in conducting all internal quality audits in accordance with the yearly schedule.
Support Quality Technicians in their role
Be responsible for planning, scheduling and delivering annual hygiene and quality audits and refresher training on site
Respond to customer complaints and queries
Manage all hygiene related issues on site
Be fully aware of customer specification requirements, from both the quality and technical aspects of a job
Report to the Management Team with results from second and third party audits, with any recommendations for improvements
HACCP, desirable training level 2 as minimum
Quality and safety conscious
Experience of a similar role within a packaging manufacturing business
Competency in using Microsoft products i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
