The Vacancy
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Manager to join Wates with our Wates Property Services Finance team in Redditch. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role will provide business support and data analysis while working with senior stakeholders within the Finance Team and the wider business.
Key accountabilities will include:
1. Manage the project workload of the team
2. Manage budgeting, forecasting, analysis, overseeing management accounting, supporting the commercial and operational functions.
3. Create and maintain reports using Business Objects, Excel
4. Review and manage all reports produced by the team
5. Partake in Group IT projects which require financial systems expertise
We are looking for a CCAB qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) with Post Qualification experience, with excellent Excel skills and knowledge of a BI reporting tool (preferably Business Objects).
To be successful in this role you will be proactive, have a self-motivating mind-set with a desire for continuous improvement, with the ability to impact at all levels, and be a clear communicator for/ to your team and to the wider business. Keen problem solving skills desirable, and as the role has a number of direct reports so the proven ability to manage and motivate a team is a must.
