Summary: We are seeking an Office Manager to join our team at our Wymeswold head office. In this pivotal role, you will undertake a variety of administrative, clerical and managerial tasks supporting the operational needs of our growing organization. Your contributions will be vital in enhancing our service delivery and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities:
1. Effective communication, team management, and a keen eye for detail to ensure the smooth functioning of our office and teams.
2. Supervise and support staff to maintain high-quality service delivery.
3. Address administrative queries from staff.
4. Serve as the first point of contact for the organisation, ensuring a welcoming environment.
5. Oversee weekly, monthly, and annual safety checklists.
6. Coordinate human resources activities including recruitment, training, and performance management.
7. Implement organizational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
8. Utilize Xero for financial tracking and reporting as needed.
9. Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders to foster positive relationships.
10. Organize meetings, prepare reports, and handle correspondence efficiently.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience in an administrative or business support role, preferably within the construction sector.
2. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
3. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
4. Familiarity with Xero or similar accounting software is a plus.
5. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
