Behaviour Support Assistant – Stretford (M32) Teaching Personnel are seeking an empathetic Behaviour Support Assistant to make a positive impact on the lives of young learners with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This role is in a SEN and SEMH Primary school in Streford. As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will play a key role in providing essential support to low-needs pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring they have a positive and accessible learning experience. Responsibilities: Support with a range of Special Educational Needs. Implement behaviour management strategies. Work closely with teachers and the school’s SENCO to develop individual Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). Provide one-to-one or small group support to help pupils achieve their learning goals. Maintain a positive and nurturing learning environment for all pupils. Encourage pupils' social and emotional development. Requirements: Previous experience working with pupils with SEN. Ability to engage and support pupils effectively.
