Social Worker Required

With previous experience from the NHS or private care, you can join the multidisciplinary team which has a strong emphasis on teamwork, and where you will provide care for children and young people with eating disorders.
As a Social Worker, you will manage a complex caseload and be responsible for social care assessments, risk assessments, facilitate group activities, and contribute to ICR meetings, supporting service users to make viable plans for their future.
You will report to the Safeguarding Lead, manage internal investigations, and liaise with home authorities for service users during their admission and discharge process, while enjoying access to a range of training opportunities that can help your career grow and achieve your aspirations.
As a Social Worker, you will be responsible for:
1. Referrals to LADO and Local Authority in line with safeguarding and assessments.
2. Educating hospital staff about relevant safeguarding matters.
3. Completing a full annual social care reassessment within the CPA format.
4. Facilitating access to welfare rights, housing, advocacy services, and associated support services.
5. Participating in 1:1 supervision.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
1. Social Work England registration.
2. A Social Work degree.
3. Experience within a similar environment.
Where you will be working:
This is a specialist inpatient eating disorder service for children and young people aged 12 up to 18 years. Each treatment programme is tailored to the needs of the young person.
