Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for a QC Inspector to join a skilled Quality team in a precision engineering environment. The QC Inspector will report directly to the QC Cell Manager and be responsible for coordinating inspection activities to ensure components meet required quality standards.
As a QC Inspector, your primary duties will include first-off, in-process, and final inspection of machined components, ensuring all parts are fully traceable and accurately documented. You will play a key role in maintaining inspection records, using ERP systems, and raising non-conformance reports (MRBs) in line with company procedures.
You’ll also help uphold calibration control of inspection equipment, promote a culture of continuous improvement, and support training of apprentices and new team members within the department.
The successful QC Inspector will also champion safe working practices and ensure that inspection operations follow internal quality systems and 5S housekeeping standards. Flexibility, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive mindset are essential in this role.
Skills & Experience:

Strong background in quality inspection within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment
*
Skilled in using precision measuring tools (e.g. micrometers, verniers, height gauges)

Excellent understanding of engineering drawings and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
*
Experience inspecting components for sectors such as aerospace, oil & gas, or defence is advantageous
*
Confident with ERP systems (IFS or similar)

Strong communication skills and a team player attitude
