Therole:
Fugro'sengineering team are involved in many exciting and innovativeglobal projects within offshore renewables. As a Mechanical DesignEngineer, you will help the team deliver differentiation throughtechnology in our products and service delivery.
The Mechanical Design Engineer will provideinnovative solutions and creative problem solving to assist withthe development of seabed drilling and subsea installations tools.The role will follow the project lifecycle, requiring thedevelopment of specifications, budgets and programs. Leading toconceptual and detail design, engineering calculations andanalysis.
This is an excitingopportunity to join our established team where you will be involvedin a range of engineering activities from conceptual design tomachine commissioning and site trials.
Who we're lookingfor:
This roleis ideal for an established Mechanical Design Engineer from aMarine or Heavy Industrial background looking for the next step intheir career in a diverse, supportive, and friendlyteam.
You should havedemonstrable experience in preparing technical drawings andengineering documentation, along with a proactive and collaborativeapproach to your work.
Previous experience or competency with 2D and 3DCAD Software (preferably SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
We are particularly interested in candidateswith experience of Hydraulic system design or who have performedany role developing low-volume, high-valuemachinery.
