We are looking for a Personal Assistant to assist in supporting our 14-year-old son, who lives at home with his family and dog in Newton Stewart. Layton has learning and physical disabilities; he is fun-loving and has a great sense of humour. He loves computer games and TV, and with gentle persuasion, is open to almost anything.
Layton would love someone who also has a sense of fun and adventure to take him out and about and maybe even play games with him. You would be required to work with the parents to learn Layton's routines and needs and support activities. The hours would be discussed at the interview.
Working with this family:
* £10.90 per hour
* 8 hours per week
* Experience with young adults with learning and physical disabilities would be an advantage; training can be provided.
