GSL Education Hull Branch are seeking a passionate Learning Support Assistant to empower young learners with additional needs in a vibrant classroom environment in Bridlington, where you will support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a mainstream classroom setting. About The Role As a Leaning Support Assistant, you will assist teachers with lesson delivery, provide individualised or small group support, and promote positive social interactions to foster an inclusive learning environment. While prior experience with SEN is highly desirable, we welcome enthusiastic candidates with a genuine passion for helping students overcome barriers to learning, as training will be provided. Responsibilities Of The Learning Support Assistant Collaborate with classroom teachers to assist in the delivery of engaging lessons. Provide tailored support to individual students or small groups, helping them overcome academic challenges. Foster positive social interactions among students, promoting a sense of community and inclusiveness. Monitor and document student progress, sharing insights with teachers to enhance learning experiences. Help create a nurturing environment where every child feels valued and motivated to learn. Requirements Of The Learning Support Assistant A patient and enthusiastic approach to working with young learners. Experience with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is highly desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidates. A genuine passion for helping students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
