Deploying the latest innovative solutions and working in partnership with our customers and stakeholders, the team takes a holistic approach to managing water quality and flow across the region. Currently delivering a £50million portfolio which rapidly expands to over £2 billion over the next 10 years. This is a fast-paced team that is now expanding to continue to deliver a larger programme of sustainable and innovative solutions. A brand-new position has been created to join our Environment & Innovation team as a PMO Analyst. Job Overview The Programme Management Office (PMO) provides the central ‘hub’ for the projects and programmes within the portfolio. The PMO analyst is a key member of this team whose responsibility will include delivery lifecycle governance, financial management, internal and regulatory reporting and analytics, assurance / quality control, updating processes and templates. Financial management: tracking, reporting, analytics, purchase order and invoice process, financial systems updates Regular project, programme, and portfolio reviews Planning, reporting, control, analytics and identifying trends: financials, risks, issues, changes, dependencies, post project reviews and lessons learnt Prioritisation: identifying gaps, conflicts and options and co-ordinating decisions Development and maintenance of governance processes and standards, driving adoption About You The work we are doing is industry leading, so we welcome applicants from all backgrounds and experiences who feel they can work as part of an agile, dynamic and innovative team. You will have excellent stakeholder management skills – building relationships with a variety of primarily internal and some external providers at a range of levels. Have excellent organisational and prioritisation skills – managing a number of deadlines across multiple projects Excellent attention to detail with an understanding of data and numbers Experience in Agile and/or Waterfall advantageous PMP, Prince 2 or equivalent certification beneficial but not essential Excellent demonstrable experience of scoping and delivering PMO services Experience of the full delivery lifecycle and project management tools and technique Experience of project, programme and portfolio reviews, reporting and analytics Regulated industry exposure is a bonus This is a unique opportunity to join a high performing and highly engaged team who are delivering a large innovative programme in partnership using sustainable and nature based approaches to reduce the use of storm overflows and improve the environment.
