We’re looking for a proactive and resilient Merchandising Assistant to join our UK team. You’ll play a key role in supporting the team to ensure our product assortment is optimised across all channels, to drive growth and deliver exceptional products. This role is perfect for someone looking to kickstart their career in merchandising within a small, dynamic company where you’ll have the chance to gain hands-on experience across various aspects of the business.
Core Responsibilities
We’re fast-paced and opportunistic, meaning we’re agile and comfortable in an entrepreneurial setting, where no two days are ever the same. But these are the things that will be core to your role and will keep you busy.
* Inventory Support: Assist in monitoring stock levels, ensuring alignment with sales trends and customer demand across direct-to-consumer, wholesale, and retail channels. Coordinate stock movements and replenishments to maintain optimal inventory levels.
* Sales & Performance Analysis: Support the merchandising team by compiling and updating weekly and monthly sales reports. Assist in the analysing of product performance to identify trends and provide insights to inform stock planning and future product development.
* Assortment Planning: Assist in preparing for new product launches by coordinating with stakeholders, updating internal systems, and ensuring accurate product information is available for each channel.
* Product & Branch Planning: Assist the merchandising team in planning product assortments that align with our brand’s aesthetic and meet the needs of our customers across all channels. Collaborate to create detailed stock plans for each channel, ensuring optimal inventory distribution to maximise sales and enhance customer experience while minimising excess stock.
* Market Research: Conduct market research to assist with insights into new trends and competitive analysis.
* Wholesale & Retail Coordination: Support the wholesale and retail teams with stock allocations and inventory updates. Help ensure wholesale partners have the right products to meet market demand and represent our brand effectively.
* Sample Management: Help manage product samples, including tracking and quality checking to ensure products meet company standards before they reach the market.
* Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, marketing, and e-commerce teams to ensure product availability, support marketing initiatives, and help align inventory and product display with promotional campaigns.

Requirements
About You
It’s all about compatibility. These are the things you’ll need to thrive in the role at Antler.
* Relevant experience or degree in merchandising, retail management, or business.
* An analytical mind and confidence using Excel; knowledge of merchandising software is a plus.
* Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
* A proactive and detail-oriented approach, with a passion for travel and lifestyle brands.
