Pay : £12.26 per hour to £17.30 per hour (dependent on working pattern and number of hour worked) / £23,656 per annum full time equivalent The Role: To safely transport our pupils to and from the train station. In addition to the stated regular hours, there could be the opportunity to drive pupils to specific clubs and activities. These journeys would be on specific evenings and weekends. There could also be the occasional airport journey. You would be acting as an ambassador for the school, and ensuring that at all times you promote and act in accordance with the school’s values and ethos. Key responsibilities: Transport our pupils to and from the train station and specific clubs/activities such as the gym work placements. Ensure the mini-bus has sufficient fuel for the required journeys Inspect the mini-bus before and after the journey and complete the appropriate drive rs log Ensure the pupils behave in an appropriate and safe manner during transport Report pupil behaviour to relevant staff as appropriate. Required skills and experience: Previous driving experience – ideally in passenger transport To hold a full, current driving license and D1 Be prepared to undertake a competency test Be prepared to undertake safeguarding training and submit to a DBS check Be prepared to undergo additional training as requi red.
